The color wheel is a personal project we collaborated on with Hayk to explore generative design techniques.

The idea emerged while we were working at Typeform on the design system. As we generated the new brand colors, we realized that, as designers, it was challenging to generate a color palette to play with and experiment with from a product design perspective. Ensuring color consistency, particularly in terms of saturation and lightness, was quite time-consuming, especially in a work environment where extensive testing was required before finalizing the design.

Hayk's generative tool was our first attempt at streamlining this process and making it more efficient and enjoyable. The tool greatly simplified the creation of the new Typeform product colors, allowing us to generate them more quickly, easily, and creatively.
